ProRisk are pleased to announce that as part of our expansion plans we are opening a Sydney office and have hired a new underwriter in Melbourne.
PRORISK Sydney
The Sydney office will open in early September with Jon Willmott transferring from ProRisk Melbourne. Jon takes with him over ten years industry experience and adds a sound knowledge of the London market having spent the majority of this time underwriting professional lines for a leading Lloyd's of London syndicate.
Having immigrated to Australia in 2008, Jon has adapted his depth of underwriting skills to succeed within the Australian market and has been a valued contributor to both the growth and success of Prorisk.
Jon quoted "The opportunity to establish Prorisk within a new state was too good to pass up and I'm looking forward to growing what is already a great supporting broker network for us in Sydney."
New Underwriter
Fauzia Tobias joined the ProRisk team on the 18th July, bringing with her expertise in both the legal and insurance fields gained in England.
Having obtained both a Bachelor of Law and then her Masters, Fauzia worked in the legal profession in the capacity of a Solicitor for several years; working on professional indemnity claims.
Fauzia moved across into the world of Insurance working on risk assessment, underwriting, and management of professional indemnity, personal & catastrophic injury, medical negligence & product liability claims.
Fauzia’s appointment will help ensure we can continue to provide a high level of service and technical know how as we continue to grow.
