The NSW government announced earlier this year that they’re increasing contributions to the NSW Emergency Services Levy (ESL) by over 20% for 2020-2021, in order to reach the collection target of just under $1.09 billion.

In response to this, ProRisk will be adjusting our ESL rate for all future property policies in NSW.

ProRisk’s ESL rate will increase to 37.5%. This will be effective from 1 August 2020 for any property business being quoted going forward.
